Confidentiality
What you share with your clinician is confidential, with the legal exceptions required in North Carolina (such as imminent risk of harm or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult). Your clinician reviews these with you at your first session. We never confirm to anyone whether a person is a client.
This website
This site does not collect personal information on its own. The chat assistant in the corner can take your name, contact information, and the reason for your call so the office can follow up; please do not enter insurance or health details in the chat — use the secure intake packet instead. Booking is handled by Calendly and intake forms by Hushmail, each under their own privacy policies. Embedded maps and videos are provided by Google and YouTube.
Email and text
Email is not a secure way to send health information. Appointment reminders and booking links are sent by text and email; reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your phone number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing; mobile information is used only to communicate with you about your care and appointments.
Appointments
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead. A $75 fee applies to late cancellations and no-shows except where prohibited by your insurance plan. There is a 10-minute grace period, and after three no-shows clients are discharged from services.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. Ask your clinician for one before your first session.
